Our Story

The Springfield Police Department provides primary police services to the residents of Springfield Township. We currently employ 10 full time officers, along with a full time records clerk/police secretary. We provide security and vacation checks to residents, as well as elderly welfare checks. Springfield PD is dispatched by Austintown 911 since 2021.
